Happy Birthday to Me!

Yesterday was my 35th birthday. I have been pondering about many things all day. I was thinking about how much it sucked to be at school on my birthday. I was thinking I would love to be working in the house with my husband. I was thinking that this will be my year!!!! So I decided to make a list and share it with you.

By next year I will:

1. Be working out of my house helping people get healthy both physically and financially, thank you Beachbody

2. I will be at my goal weight and living the healthy lifestyle that my body loves.

3. I will have the certifications I need to make my classes the best in Butler.(All Star Presenter camp here I come.)

4. I will be driving a newer more dependable car.

5. I will be financially more independent.

6. I will have my house finished.

7. I will have more time to be there for my family

8. I will have a date a month with my husband.

9. I will stop procrastinating on important things that I need to do.

10. I will look at myself in the mirror every day and Love who I am and who I am becoming. Because the more love I feel for myself the more love I can give my family.

This year my birthday was amazing. I had over 90 people take time out of their day to wish me happy birthday. I am truly humbled by all of my amazing friends. I know how busy your schedules are and I appreciate the time you took out for me.

This is my wonderful family.  We had such a great time at the Zoo.  Love them so much!!!

The Problem with Backsliding.

The problem with backsliding is when you try to get up you have more of a tendency to slip back down. This is my issue. I have tried multiple times to get back up and find myself sliding right back down where I was before. I am doing all the right things in the morning then evening comes and I start making mistakes. I have found a new book I am reading however Called EAT by Dr. Ian Smith (I know what a great title. right) I am really liking what he has to say. It is exactly what I have been thinking for a while and I know that he has had success with other people so I am going to try it, because it makes sense. Don't exclude any food groups they are needed to supply you with the Macro and micro nutrients you need. Portion Control and stay away from sugar. Well that is what I have learned so far. I am going to try and see how it goes I will let you know how it turns out. I am also going to try blogging more. If anyone reading has any topics they want to hear about or any questions let me know.

So what to do now. Well work on my self is one. I am now keeping a stess diary, to try to get a handle on the triggers for the emotional eating. I am working on my to do lists with Chalene Johnson's 30 day Challenge. If you have not tried this you so should she is amazing and it will so help you reach your goals. . I will keep you all in the circle as my goals become a reality. To get my life in order before school starts. I am also using this to include my workouts in my to do list. I am going to hit another round of Turbo Fire. I started Insanity but I don feel I am ready for it just yet. I will see you all soon.

I am Back!

I have been gone.  Off track so to speak.  I have done some major soul searching.  A little backsliding and had a lot of questions to get answered.  I am now an official ACE certified personal trainer, turbo kick instructor and have completed my first year of college.  So now I am back and blogging again!!!

Some of the things that I have been having trouble with may be something you need help with so I have decided to blog about them and get them out.

1.  Time:  I know this is the age old excuse.  However, This semester really kicked my butt I had a lot of major homework that took a lot of time.  This is the price I pay for going back to school.  So now I need a solution to the problem.  I could get up earlier to get my workouts in however, mornings in my house are very hectic so that is just not working.  So I plugged through the semester as you can see somethings had to fall off my plate for a while for example blogging. I worked out as much as I could but, everything is linked so my nutrition was not the greatest.   I am also going to check in to getting 10 min Trainer.

The next question was ok well this was one semester.  I have so many more to go how am I going to fix it.  The anwser was my schedule.   I switched my scheule for next sememster so that I am only going on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.

So now I turn the question to you. Do you feel like you are having a lack of time to get your workouts in or to eat healthy?  Have you put convenience above your health.  I will admit I slipped in to putting convenience above not only my health but my families health.   It is time for a change.

2.  I have been doing some searching for the correct nutrition plan.  Not only for me but my whole family.  I have decided to go with a balanced diet.  This I feel is the best for my kids to grow and be healthy.  I know there are strictor nutrition plans but I seriously think that being deprived is not the answer.  I also know that people many people have lost weight and became healthy on a well balanced diet.

This now comes down to planning.  However, not only planning but sticking to the plan.  Healthy snacks and heathy meals and sticking to a schedule.

Well that is my plan and I am sticking to it.
